PROGRESSION II
The sequel to last years epic night of progressive, bass rich, electronic dance music event at Deville in Nelson.
It’s only once a year that these three extraordinary artists share the stage to take you travelling through funkiest, phatest, musical journey that will delight the senses in every way.
PAIGE JULIA is a creature that lives on an island in the South Pacific Ocean that spends her time tinkering with sound machines. Whilst a well-known force in Aotearoa’s underground bass music scene for some time, Paige Julia is now being embraced by the global music community as one of the very profound artists emanating from Aotearoa. She has released music with 1985 Music, Drum&BassArena, Unchained Recordings, Samsara Beats, MalLabel Music, Forest Biz, Uncomfortable Beats and Totally Roasted as well as a self released album titled “Morphling” that won “Best Electronic Artist” at the 2021 Aotearoa Music Awards. Her music is inspired by the many shades of underground bass culture, navigating the grey area between breakbeat, dubstep, techno, jungle and hip hop.
DYLAN C Rollin, deep and always a vibe – Dylan C sets are a fluid journey through a world of bass and 4×4 grooves. Crossing genres, from halftime, D&B & jungle, to techno and melodic house, expect a few surprises with Dylan C at the controls.
MAMADAFUNK Creator of story sets roving through tempos and genre’s, funky, deep, even moments of humour and rhetoric, Mama will always get a dance-floor whipped up and the booty moving.
