Ghost Media, Rhythm Output and Full Time Senders are teaming up to present one of DNB’s dark horses – the incomparable KYRIST, for her first ever Aotearoa show.
As a producer, Kyrist has released music on some of the genre’s most iconic imprints, including Dispatch, Hospital, Critical, D&B Arena, Overview, The North Quarter, Broken Audio, Proximity Recordings and her very own label Kynetic Sound. She began making music in 2016, releasing her first EP in 2017 through Dispatch, and is no stranger to the deep and dark side of the genre, with a gritty style that is rooted in minimalism, and heavily influenced by neuro and tech-step. She has built a reputation as one of the most sought after DJs in the game, hosting her own show on Kool FM and regularly performing at some of the genre’s biggest events, including festivals such as Let It Roll, Boomtown and Liquicity. Better get your skanking shoes out for this one…
To complete the night, we have enlisted some of the capital’s finest drum n bass producers to get the vibe warm – minimalist master HOUND and deep bass connoisseur PHRASE, each bringing their own brand of skull-rattling DNB to the lineup. They will be flanked by champion selector and festival scene veteran LEVI, as well as the RHYTHM OUTPUT crew on opening duties, and host MC YOUNG GHO$T to keep it lyrical.
We’re expecting nothing but vibes for this one. Grab your ticket now and lock in for a night of serious drum n bass!
PLEASE NOTE – our community is all about respect and bringing people together through shared appreciation of music and good times. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards all antisocial behaviour. We’re here to dance, not to be harrassed by someone who’s had too much to drink and can’t keep their hands to themselves. If you’re causing trouble, you will be ejected from the event with no refund, and possibly banned from future events. Do not touch anybody or cross anybody’s boundaries without their consent. If somebody is annoying you, feel free to come and speak to event staff – we are here for your safety.
