Flowidus Bio:
Born just prior to the early 90’s rise of drum & bass, producers Raphael (based in Raglan, New Zealand) and Garo (based in Perth, Australia) have rooted their sound in the form, both as solo artists, and now collaboratively. Their combined passion for good vibes, and being able to share that with their fans was what defined their stage name FLOWIDUS, with both producers being quoted as saying “when people see us or hear our music, we want them to feel apart of it.”
Following their exclusive signing to Elevate Records, FLOWIDUS have spent the last few years cementing themselves as household names in the genre across the globe, gaining extensive support from the likes of Friction, Pendulum and Andy C to name a few.
Their extensive back catalogue includes smash hits such as ‘By Your Side’ with Friction & Raphaella recently becoming their first Gold-certified recorded and notching up over 13 million Spotify streams and ‘Shelter’ and ‘Fire’ both making their way in to the NZ Hot20 Singles charts with regular support from BBC Radio 1 and George FM..
The duo have hit the ground running in 2023 following a successful string of releases that has seen them collaborate with Grafix, Subsonic, T95, and Dread MC. Their latest offering ‘Belong’ sees them team up with the enrapturing vocal prowess of Matisse to deliver a top-tier slice of dancefloor drum and bass that’s compelling basslines encapsulate the unique qualities that have turned Flowidus into the serious force that they are in today’s D&B landscape.
Now as duo are prepare to embark on a 15-date UK & European summer tour with an arsenal of unreleased music up their sleeve, it is abundantly clear that their inevitable accent into the highest echelons of drum & bass is well and truly underway.
