Max Peterson has been performing and releasing his unique brand of trance music under various project names since 1998. Max was born in San Diego, California
Max, started his solo project in 2007- MAD MAXX- the result of years of hard work, perfecting a unique sound, embodying all the travels, experiences and parties of the past 20 years. The music is a mix of trance, ethnic and deep sounds, with a strong kick and ominous bass line, an electro touch, emotional chants, and at times nostalgic atmospheres, with a BPM ranging from 138 to 145 in general. All of this sonic mayhem delivered in a whirlwind of psychedelia of course….

MAD MAXX has been delivering his live set to all trance freaks in the world on a weekly basis, and has collaborated with numerous artists…including JOHN 00 FLEMING, SKAZI, PIXEL, AVALON, ASTRIX, ELECTRIC UNIVERSE, SONIC SPECIES, BLOCK DEVICE, MENOG, TRISTAN, SPACE TRIBE, GMS, PAINKILLER, POLI, XSI, S-RANGE, VOYAGER (aka Altom), BIO-GENESIS, AUDIO X” MEKKANIKKA, DIGITAL TALK, JOHN PHANTASM and more….
The first MAD MAXX album “AFTERWORLD”, was released May 2008 on PHANTASM records. The second MAD MAXX album was released in June 2011 on UNITED BEATS RECORDS. MAD MAXX’s 3rd album will be out end of 2017 on UNITED BEATS RECORDS….

MAD TRIBE is a collaboration between SPACE TRIBE & MAD MAXX (Olli Wisdom RIP & Max Peterson). Mad Tribe make, Inspiring, Intense Full Power music with incredible production technique. They are both well established artists on the Psytrance scene for many years. They met in San Francisco at the infamous CCC parties & became good friends. They started making music together in 2005 clicking immediately with a shared vision for a full power psychedelic sound with twisted sense of humour. MAD TRIBE received fantastic response to their first album ”SPACED OUT” on TIP records 2015, Bringing a juicy psychedelic experience, guaranteed to spark all 6 senses. In 2016 Mad Tribe released Tuned in Perfectly, Alien Hoax & The LSD party EPs & a stunning vinyl picture disc.
Mad Tribe will release a UFO shaped vinyl “Out of this World” & new album “Amazing tales from Outer Space” in summer of 2017 so prepare for Blast Off!

Imagine, another achievement from this gathering will be our first actual fully zero waste event! WOW. I hope that prospect excites you as much as us.
