———————————————
In 2021 Rolling Meadows was born, proving the concept and putting The Bone Line Winery in Waipara to the test as New Zealand’s newest festival location.
Last year the festival took over 18 months to plan and build but now the foundations are set. This year Rolling Meadows expands and grows, bringing an even bigger multi genre lineup to 3 epic sages in one of the most picturesque locations in the country ☀️
Featuring 3 epic stages, 5 bars, a professional 40 ft skateboarding competition, full camping and glamping, and set on a boutique New Zealand winery in the scenic Waipara River Valley. This is the spot to watch the sunset on 2022.
ROLLING SIX LINEUP:
PENDULUM DJ SET (AUS)
TIGERLILY (AUS)
S.P.Y (UK)
MR TRAUMATIK & FRENZEE (UK)
FRED V (UK)
NYXEN (AUS)

DUCKBREWE SKATEBOARDING COMPETITION
The place where action sports meets music, set in an industrail style skate park, Duckbrewe #3 takes place INSIDE Rolling Meadows, a festival within a festival. Featuring a 40 ft ramp, a concrete street competition, the best skateboarders from around NZ, tap pulled beers, our new and improved Electric Tyanhaus Stage all set in a natural amphitheatre. Only the best place to bath in the last of ’22’s sun.
EAT LOCAL!
Lets admit it, Canterbury has some of the best foodies around, so we decided to round them up and bring them all to one place. Think Base Pizza, Empire Chicken, Planted, all nestled together with 5 unique bars, including an all exclusive wine bar, tap pulled craft beer from Brew Moon, and wine from Canterbury’s finest, The Bone Line. Come enjoy the best hospotality that Christchurch has to offer.
THREE UNIQUE STAGES ⚡️
Three stages, all with a seperate theme and a multi genre international lineup. Think electronic, hip hop, pop, on some of the biggest stage production in the country. We are passionate about stages at Rolling Meadows, and think you will be too after you see what we have lined up…
CAMP OR GLAMP
Pitching the tent on day 1 of the festival, a quintessential part of any summer. Choose a spot and park up with friends and whanau for the final days of 2022. We have everything you need to be comfortable, running fresh water, toilets, and power spots inside the festival. Ready to glam it up? Nomadic tents are pitching 20 glamping tents for us this year, each glamping pass gives you access to our VIP area The Terrace, has flushing toilets and it’s own running water.
Have a campervan? We have limited space this year for some campervans! Check out the campervan option in the add ons tab. Note, that you must have a campervan to be eligible! There will be some toilets in this area aswell so self contained is not a must.
Alternatively skip the noise and support Waipara and Amberley by choosing one of the local accomodation suppliers or Airbnbs to stay at.
FINALLY 💜
A huge thank you to The Bone Line, the Waipara and Amberley communities, The Hurunui District Council, and all of our wonderful suppliers that work around the clock to bring this slice of paradise to life
We have a emergency plan in place, if a pandemic, natural disaster or other emergency stops this event from going ahead we will issue an 80% refund to all ticket holders in order to cover a fraction of our suppliers efforts. Please bear this in mind when purchasing.

FAQ
– Is there a VIP option?
Yes there is! Select The Terrace VIP pass add on! This will gain you access to “The Terrace” which is a terrace overlooking the mainstage with flushing toilets, a VIP bar and the best view of the festival!
– Can I bring my campervan?
This year we can cater for campervans! Select the campervan pass as an add on. Note, that you must have a campervan to be eligable, there are toilets in this area so a self contained campervan isn’t necessary.
– Do we have to stay onsite?
Nope! You have the option to leave each day or night if you have alternative accommodation. There is great accommodation options in the area, think Amberley, Waipara, and Rangiora
– Is there carparking on-site?
Yes there is free carparking on-site for everyone 🚗
– Can I purchase camping at a later date?
Yes! You can pick up a camping pass at any point by signing into your Ticket Fairy account and selecting the add on options within your ticket
– How many people will be at the festival?
We expect to sellout this year with 6000 guests onsite
– Is the festival BYO?
Nope, but there are 5 full bars on site featuring a full range of RTD’s, straight pours, tap beer (yes we said tap beer!), and of course WINE!!!
– Can I bring my own food?
We are trying to encourage everyone to purchase the food from the amazing local vendors. With that in mind we are letting people bring in very light “snacks” for example, biscuits, muesli bars, lollies. But we won’t be allowing full meals to be brought in such as sandwich’s, mums lasagna, or a hot butter chicken curry
– Is the event smokefree?
It isn’t smoke free, although with the environment in mind we are trying to encourage people not to smoke. We are creating designated smoking areas that will be laid with gravel that will be the areas that we restrict smoking to. The reason being is that Waipara is one of the driest regions in the country! And at that time of year the last thing we want is a full on fire
– Will there be buses from Christchurch or the surrounding areas?
Yes there are! We have busses from Christchurch Museum to Rolling Meadows available on the 30th for campers (returning when the festival finishes on the 1st) and on the 31st for day pass holders (returning in the early hours of the 1st) more information and to purchase a pass jump onto our TicketFairy event page
– What can’t we bring into the festival?
No food or beverages (including water – we have plenty!), nothing that can be used as a weapon (this includes a hammer for tents we will provide these), no glass or containers above 200ml including things like perfume and makeup. We will make a more extensive list before the festival that will be sent out to everyone.
– I need help with my ticket or addon’s who can I talk to?
Ticket Fairy has a great support network that can solve any problems you have! Message them at support@theticketfairy.com.
– Will the stance on mandatory vaccines be applicable to this festival?
Nope! No vaccine passes, no masks and no restrictions. Just the way it should be!
See you in the meadows 💜
